Sunday Sailing |
Youth Fleet or Regatta |
| The
club sails every Sunday at Eastport Yacht Club. Sailing gets underway
around Noon and we sail until 3:30 is or until we are to cold to go on. We
always take at least one break for beer and to warm up. Come join us and
bring a friend. Generally there is an extra boat to be borrowed by a
newcomer. Please remember that parking at EYC is for members only. When
you arrive for sailing please be sure to sign in on the Score sheet for
the day. Once the racing begins please call out your sail numbers as you
finish. It is your responsibility to notify the scorer of a DNF or DNS you
may have for a race. All of these things make it much easier to calculate
the final results. |
There
has been more and more participation and interested from members children
and onlookers. RC Sailing is a great way to teach people of all ages the
rules and dynamics of a sailing racing. If anyone is interested in helping
promote our club and sport to youth as well as helping organize a regatta
for them please contact Ernest. |
