NOTICE OF REGATTA

Event: Clovelly's Tenth Annual CR-914 Cow Pond Regatta
Date: Saturday, April 11th
Location: The Cow Pond, Clovelly Farm, Chestertown, MD 21620
Time: Registration: noon, First Race: 1:00PM

Entry Fee: $10 and an appetizer to share.
Scoring: Low point system
Awards: Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The overall winner will be presented the perpetual Mitchell Chance Gibbons-Neff Trophy.

Notes:

	This is a family-friendly event. Very casual. We will have a scavenger hunt for our younger fans. Bikes are a great idea. So are kites, remote control planes, helicopters, soccer balls and lacrosse sticks. Consider bringing a change of clothes. All children will get dirty, or fall in the pond. Or both.
	We will feature a race for junior sailors, 13 and under.
	If there are more than 20 boats, we may split into two fleets. This will be determined on the day of the regatta.
	Wear your mud boots and bring a cooler of drinks. We'll supply hoagies for the crowd. BYOB.
	Chairs are another good idea.
	About dogs. Yes, they are welcome, too. But if Fido is not friendly, he goes back in your car. We have several large, male dogs who consider the farm their home.
	Super Hero Dave Ramos, or one of his able assistants, will be there with additional crystals, in case we have over-lapping frequencies. Of course, we will have to return them by the end of day.

Directions:

From Annapolis, take 50 East to 301 North. Exit 213 North towards Chestertown. Follow for approximately 15 miles to Rolphs Wharf Road. Turn left. Follow 1 mile to Clovelly Farm. Turn right into driveway. (Landmarks: 2 big hollies and 3 mailboxes.) Take first right at THE NEW BARN! Follow dirt road toward cow pastures. At fence, turn left. Follow fence to pond entrance. Don't hit any cows.
